Our Goal

Language Class

The activity should give each child the prerequisite to develop a nuanced spoken language and vocabulary as well as the ability to play with words, tell stories, express thoughts, ask questions, argue and communicate with others in different contexts and with different purposes

Reaching the Goal

The children put into words what they see, feel and experience. The children get a richer use of language to develop their best self (identity) and to be able to communicate with others.

Our Teaching Method of follow-up

We will regularly plan and evaluate weekly. We will mostly start from the reflection model about what has gone well and what we need to change next time. In department Safiren, we will mostly start from child observations, but in department Diamanten, we will have child interviews, because it is a department for big children. At our parents’ meeting, we will encourage the guardians to borrow language bags which we will collect from the library. We will talk with the guardians about how the work with the Before Bornholm Model is going and describe and connect the work to their children’s development and learning. Precisely in this goal, we want to involve the guardians as much as possible.

Analysis

Here we enter what we have arrived at based on our data from interviews, observations, follow-ups, evaluations, etc. In what way can we/the business achieve a higher goal fulfillment, i.e. what could we do to increase the children’s changed skills, what needs we add to reach the goal in a better way.
