Our Goal
Science & Technology Class
The activity should give every child the prerequisite to develop the ability to explore, describe with different forms of expression, ask questions about and talk about science and technology.
What we wan to acheive?
- To promote the children's personal development and health
- That the children learn more about everyday technology, for example handling various tools.
- The children show care and create knowledge about nature.
- The children show confidence in their own abilities (younger children).
- The children can use both digital and analogue ways of expressing themselves.
- The children show curiosity and that mathematics becomes a natural part of the children's exploration.
Reaching the Goal
- We will support the children in building a relationship with nature and talk about the consequences of our actions in nature.
- We will give the children the opportunity to explore simple technology by offering varied materials.
- We will plant different seeds and vegetables which the children can then have the opportunity to explore, and follow planting from seeds to germination.
- We will work with a tablet and use various apps such as bookcreator, qr-code reader, etc. to give the children the opportunity to develop an understanding of how technology works digitally

Our Teaching Methods of follow-up
We will regularly plan and evaluate weekly. We will mostly start from the reflection model about what has gone well and what we need to change next time. In department Safiren, we will mostly start from child observations, but in department Diamanten, we will have child interviews, because it is a department for big children.

Follow-up and evaluation
Follow-up = have we done what we set out to do, if not – why?
Evaluation = how did it go, do we see any results, what was good, what needs to be developed, has the child acquired a changed skill (what you want to achieve), how can we move forward – what will be the next step
Analysis
Here we enter what you have arrived at based on your documents from interviews, observations, follow-ups, evaluations, etc. In what way can we/the business achieve a higher goal fulfillment, i.e. what could we do to increase the children’s changed skills, what needs we add to reach the goal in a better way.
